Outline of Product Technology
Product number: MIC-308-1-11
This apparatus is used for measuring the setting time of cement.
The automatic operation prevents uneven testing results depending on operators.
This apparatus saves the testing work, as it records the needle descending interval and frequency automatically with measurement using electric sensor and PC, and estimates the starting and ending times to calculate setting time of cement automatically. The starting and ending times can be modified.
A friction-free differential transform sensor is used for the displacement gauge.

Detailed Information
Dedicated software for easy operation and data recording from PC
After setting the testing material, you can perform the test operations through the dedicated software on your PC.
The automatic data recording function enables a real-time check of the intrusion on the monitor.

Visual graphic display
When the end point is estimated, the apparatus stops the operation automatically, estimates the start point and end point, and displays the result on the monitor.
Differential transformer free from sliding friction
It uses differential transformer (LVDT) that does not cause sliding friction for measuring intrusion, to avoid friction effect on the weight of the descending intrusive needle. The differential transformer has simple structure and is free from fatigue and friction, and also characterized by the long lifespan, high resolving power, and stable output.
Easy on and off switching of the apparatus in use (for multiple-gang type)
For multiple-gang type users, the dedicated software operation is available to specify the apparatus you use for the test. For example, you can specify "only three apparatus on this test" for flexible testing. (The maximum number for the multiple-gang type is 8.)
